2009 Another Roadside Attraction
A new fixture in our line up, this wine has a gorgeous dense red/black color. Also notable are the beautiful aromatics. Elevated notes of vanilla, crème brulee, smoked tea and black pepper lend elegance to this deep and brooding wine. Roasted plums and cherries mingle with bittersweet chocolate and spicy notes. An hommage to its literary namesake, this wine is complex, intriguing and surprising.

Medium dark red. Aromas and flavors of plum, milk chocolate and flowers show good intensity and life. Sweet and fine-grained in the mouth, offering lovely balance; not hugely complex or deep but offers attractive floral character and finishes with refined tannins. Les Behrens emphasizes that this wine is "not a moneymaker: it doesn't come from cheap fruit sources."
